It fell behind, 7-0, in the second quarter but reeled off 35 consecutive points in the second through fourth quarters for a 35-14 victory over No. 8 DePaul. Keyon Washington scored on a run, reception and fumble recovery and Jabrill Peppers caught a TD pass and returned an interception for a score.

Jonathan Hilliman rushed for four touchdowns on just five carries and Brandon Wimbush added two touchdowns through the air as St. Peter's Prep rolled to a 63-7 victory over Memorial.

Colin McGovern threw a TD pass to Mike Aniello and Corey Russo ran for a TD in a 20-17 loss to Bishop Gorman of Nevada. Kurt Holuba, Connor O'Brien and J.P. Garcia led the defense.

Frank Nutile tossed two TD passes and Elijah Ibitokun-Hanks scored twice -- once receiving, once rushing -- in a 50-21 loss to Miami Central of Florida. Miami Central, which was ranked No. 7 in USA Today, scored 19 straight points to close the second quarter and take a 29-14 lead.

Kevin Gilmore kicked a 28-yard field goal with 3:32 left in the fourth quarter to lift the team to a 17-14 triumph over Shawnee. Joseph Early had a TD run and Marques Little caught a 48-yard TD pass from Doug Banks in the third quarter to erase a 14-point deficit.

The Absecon squad trailed by one before Frank Rifici rushed for a 29-yard TD in the fourth quarter to put the Absecon squad ahead. T.J. Anderson pushed the lead to 11 with a TD run in a 31-28 victory over its rival, No. 17 St. Joseph (Hamm.).

Zach Bednarczyk threw for 191 yards and two TDs as DePaul fell to No. 2 Paramus Catholic, 35-21, in Paramus. Kareem Walker had a 74-yard TD run in the loss as well.

Elijah Robinson ran for a TD and threw TD passes to Will Kline and Kenny Rosario, while Shaquan Oliver, Gerard Brown and Donovan McDonald each ran for a TD in a 43-6 triumph over East Orange. Austin Stevens, Kevin Robinson, Ibn Wallace and Rae Oliver led the defense.

Pope John put up 42 points in the first quarter against High Point en route to a 68-14 victory. Sophomore quarterback Sonny Abramson was 10-for-15 passing for 244 yards and five touchdowns in the first half. Dashawn Chatelier scored twice on the ground, while wide receiver Austin Bailey caught two touchdown passes.

Running back Larry Redaelli rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns and defensive end Shawn McCord had two sacks and forced a fumble for the defense.

Wide receiver Saeed Blacknall caught a touchdown and rushed for a score to help Manalapan in its shutout victory over Freehold Township.

Todd Spirit hit a 25-yard field goal and Tom Flacco threw a 43-yard TD pass to Keshawn Segers to break a late tie and lift the team to a 50-41 victory over No. 16 Timber Creek. Flacco threw for 233 yards and four scores and ran for another and Segers had 13 catches for 281 yards and two TD passes and made the game-sealing interception.

14-DELBARTON (1-1)

After a tough opening week, Delbarton got back on the winning track by defeating Mendham, 28-0. Running backs Robert Arancio and Andrew Sanders combined for 296 rushing yards and three scores to complement the solid defensive effort.

Running back Jason Cabinda scored twice as Hunterdon Central topped Bridgewater-Raritan, 24-0. Quarterback Mike Knight passed for 137 yards and one touchdown.

QB Dan Williams threw for a South Jersey-record 488 yards and four TDs and Rutgers-commit Adonis Jennings hauled in 13 passes for 288 yards and three scores and returned a kick for a TD in a 50-41 loss to No. 13 Eastern.

Salaam Horne returned a punt for a score and tossed a TD pass, while C.J. LaFragola had a TD pass and run in a 31-28 loss to No. 7 Holy Spirit.

Jonathan Castellano rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries, as he, Tamaine Boyd, Nawell Rojas and company rushed for more than 420 yards in a 68-27 victory over North Bergen.

Trevor Osler was a near-perfect 12-for-14 passing for 134 yards in a 38-6 victory over Triton. Cherokee scored 31 points in the first half on a 61-yard punt return TD by Rob Agnoni, a scoring run by Matt Stickney and on TD passes from Osler to Jake Powell and Jesse Streb.

Liam Derkasch carried the ball 18 times for 143 yards and two TDs as Ridge downed then-No. 18 Immaculata, 31-7, for its second straight victory over the Somerville school. Conor Hughes had a 34-yard field goal and an interception return for a TD in the victory.
