1. Lenape Valley (7-1): Patriots rebounded nicely from Madison loss by battling past a tough Dover team.

2. Pope John (7-1): Newly-crowned American Division champs are on seven-game win streak, with Delbarton showdown looming.

3. Sparta (7-1): Spartans racked up 58 points and nearly 400 rushing yards in win over Group 5 Morris Knolls.

4. North Warren (6-2): Patriots of Blairstown are having a memorable season, and will be hosting a playoff game for the first time.

5. Jefferson (5-3): Despite tough loss to one of state's best teams, Falcons still have firm grip of 1st playoff spot since state title season of '08.

Quarterbacks
1. Jake Melville, Sparta: Rushed for 109 yards and a TD, passed for 125 yards.
2. Sean Carroll, Lenape Valley: Completed fourth-down, 17-yard pass to set up winning TD & also threw 4-yard TD pass with 11 seconds left in 1st half.
3. Nick Grant, Newton: Threw 2 TD passes.
4. Sonny Abramson, Pope John: Passed for 99 yards in Lions' title-clinching win.
5. Durango Petit, High Point: Threw 50-yard TD pass vs. Morris Hills.
6. Kyle Potten, Kittatinny: Passed for 136 yards vs. mighty Madison.
7. Ryan Clarke, Hopatcong: Passed for 123 yards and a TD vs. Butler.

Running backs
1. Codie Aromando, Sparta: Dashed for 200 yards and a whopping five TDs on 32 carries.
2. Nick Rafferty, Lenape Valley: Rushed for 173 yards on 24 carries with 2 TDs, including game-winner at Dover.
3. Nolan Robertson, North Warren: Rushed for crucial TD with 17 seconds left. Had 145 yards and 2 TDs on 22 carries.
4. Ben Cramer, Newton: Rushed for 2 TDs and passed for another.
5. Brian Wickkiser, Hackettstown: Rushed for 149 yards and 1 TD on 26 carries.
6. Johann Lara, Hopatcong: Rushed for 119 yards on 20 carries. Also caught 2 passes for 46 yards.
7. Noah Brown, Pope John: Rushed for 110 yards and 2 TDs on just 12 carries. Also caught 2 passes for 50 yards.
8. Dan Struble, Sussex Tech: Carried 35 times for 155 yards and 3 TDs, including a 60-yarder. Also had a pick on D.
9. Ryan Ward, Vernon: Rushed for 128 yards and 2 TDs on 17 carries.

Receivers

1. Bruce Engelhardt, Lenape Valley: Caught the 17-yard, fourth-down pass and 4-yard TD pass from Carroll.
2. Casey Thomas, Newton: Snared 3 TD catches as Braves topped Parsippany.
3. Tommy Keller, Sparta: Made a nice over-the-shoulder catch in stride for a 37-yard gain.
4. John Stone, High Point: Fortunately, Stone doesn't have hands of stone as he hauled in a 50-yard TD pass from Petit.
5. Joe Repasy, Kittatinny: Had 82 receiving yards on just 2 catches.
6. Ryan Izzo, Pope John: Averaged 14.3 yards per catch and hauled in TD reception, too.
7. Brian Mills, Vernon: Caught a 30-yard pass that was big difference-maker for Vikings.

Defense
1. Trent Simmons, North Warren: Recorded 17 tackles and a sack from DB position. Also threw a 21-yard pass to Nick Tosh on offense.
2. Justin Dinelle, Vernon: Returned a fumble recovery 94 yards for a TD.
3. Jeremy Rodriguez, Pope John: J-Rod returned an interception 25 yards for a TD and also recovered a fumble.
4. Michael Boryeskne, Sparta: Had a sack and caused a fumble for Spartans. Also helped gived the running game depth, along with teammate Randy May.
5. Reagan Penner, Sparta: Recovered fumble for Spartans.
6. Jake Melville, Sparta: Recovered a fumble as part of busy day vs. Morris Knolls.
7. A.J. Bongiovianni/Willie Russell, Hopatcong: Snared 1 interception each.
8. Mason Shaw, Pope John: Had an interception and a fumble recovery
9. Luke Venskas, Vernon: Had a pick in Vikings' close win.
10. Kyle Bergman, Sussex Tech: A sack was among his 10-tackle afternoon.
11. Dan Fazio, Sussex Tech: Recovered a fumble for Mustangs.

Special Teams
1. Chris Pontus, Vernon: Stuffed a two-point conversion run to preserve a crucial Vikings' win.
2. Nolan Robertson, North Warren: Ran in 2-point conversion that lifted Pats to victory with 17 seconds to go, following his own TD run.
3. Noah Brown, Pope John: Returned a kickoff 65 yards for a touchdown that turned out to be difference-maker for Lions.
4. Jake Melville, Sparta: Returned a punt 55 yards for a score.
5. John Coleman, Sparta: Booted 24-yard FG that hit left post – doink! – then richocheted home.
6. Teddy Fischer, Sparta: Returned kickoff 57 yards, helping set up one of Spartans' eight TDs. Also made diving catch on O.
7. Dan Meusel, Hopatcong: Booted 32-yard FG.
8. Dan Cunico, Pope John: Went 5-for-5 on PATs. Also had a sack on D.
9. Kyle Bergman/Dan Struble, Sussex Tech: Rushed for 2-point conversions.
10. Owen Pullis, Vernon: Went 5-for-5 on PATs; last one made the difference in Vikes' win.
