Congratulations to Pope John's Sonny Abramson, Sam Howson and Mateo Zapata.

 

National Signing Day (February 3, 2016) - Three Pope John Lions signed Division I Football Scholarships. Quarterback Sonny Abramson will be attending the University of Virgina, Sam Howson (OL) will be attending Rutgers University and Kicker Mateo Zapata will be attending Marist College.  The Pope John Football Family wishes these players all the best for a successful future.

The Pope John Football Players spent time giving back to the communitee.  Senior grade players visited with Little Sprouts Day Care Center in Newton, while the Junior grade players spent time with the Knoll View Assisted Living Facility in Sparta.  "A great time was had by all."
